About Helena
Hello, my name is Helena, a passionate and warm Clinical Psychologist dedicated to helping people navigate life’s challenges with care and understanding. I believe that everyone deserves a space where they feel safe, heard, and supported. My aim is to help you uncover your strengths, overcome obstacles, and create a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
With nearly 10 years of experience in Psychology, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals, children, and families from all walks of life in navigating challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety, trauma, chronic health conditions, depression, and adjustment. Throughout my career, I have worked across diverse NHS roles including acute adult mental health, forensic services, physical health, neonatal care, eating disorders, and neuropsychology. My approach is inclusive and compassionate, creating a space where clients feel empowered. I draw on multiple therapeutic modalities including CBT, ACT, CFT, DBT to deliver person-centered care.
In addition to my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I also hold a Master’s of Research in Psychology, which equips me with the skills to deeply understand and apply the latest scientific findings to therapy. This means the strategies and techniques I use aren’t just effective – they’re backed by rigorous evidence.
I truly believe that change is possible for everyone, and the smallest steps can lead to big transformations. Life can be messy and complicated, but it’s also full of opportunities for growth and healing. My goal is to create a compassionate, judgement-free space where you feel supported as you work toward the life you want.
Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but I’m here to make the process as easy and welcoming as possible.
