Our Yarm clinic
Private psychology and therapy in Yarm
A confidential, professional clinic in the heart of Yarm, on the High Street above Strickland and Holt and Boots the Chemist. Talk to the Pathway Team and be matched to the right practitioner close to home.
About the clinic
A professional space in the heart of Yarm.
Our Yarm clinic sits above Strickland and Holt and Boots the Chemist on the High Street. If you have searched for a psychologist in Yarm you have probably found the same two things: an NHS wait of several months, or a list of names with no way to tell who is right for you. We work differently. Every practitioner here is an HCPC-registered psychologist or a therapist accredited by the BACP, BABCP or BPS.
It starts with one confidential call to our Pathway Team. They listen to what is happening, then match you with a practitioner trained in the approach that fits, whether that is CBT, EMDR, counselling or couples therapy. People come to us for anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma, grief and relationship difficulties. If you cannot put a name to it yet, that first conversation is there to help.
Booking is direct, and no GP referral is needed to start. If a week gets difficult, your session moves online with the same practitioner rather than a stranger. We see people from Yarm, Eaglescliffe, Egglescliffe, Ingleby Barwick, Thornaby and Stockton-on-Tees.
