I’m a Relationship Counsellor and Psychosexual Therapist, and a Registered Member of COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists), with 34 years' experience in counselling and psychosexual therapy. I support supporting couples and individuals, face to face and online.
I have worked extensively for Relate and Family Action, and in private practice, offering both couple and individual therapy. I have expertise in psychosexual therapy, working with sexual dysfunction, incompatibility, intimacy issues and relationship difficulties. I take a client-centred approach, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic models to suit the needs of each person or couple I work with. Couples can be seen together and/or separately, depending on what best supports their progress.
I am genuine, adaptable and understanding in my approach, rooted in helping clients develop self-awareness and stronger relational connections. I offer guidance for conflict management and resolution, and I create a safe environment where clients can explore uncertainty together. I am able to safely challenge clients where needed and offer support with a tailored approach.
