About Uschi

Hi, I’m Uschi. I am a Clinical Psychologist working with adults, children, adolescents, and families. Over the past decade I have supported people across a range of psychological settings with emotional, behavioural, relational, developmental, neuropsychological and health-related difficulties.

My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity and collaboration. I believe that therapy works best when it is flexible, tailored, and truly responsive to each person or family I work with. Rather than applying any single approach rigidly, I adapt my methods to match your unique goals, strengths, and circumstances - because different people need different things at different times.

I support adults navigating stress, anxiety, low mood, life transitions, health difficulties, and everyday challenges of modern life. Together, we explore what may be keeping difficulties going, develop practical tools and new perspectives, and build greater self-understanding.

When working with children, adolescents, and families, I pay particular attention to how relationships, communication patterns, neurocognition, life transitions, and wider systems influence wellbeing. I am committed to supporting parents too - helping you feel less alone in the challenges that family life can bring.

I draw primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Systemic Therapy, while also integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I have particular interest in neuropsychology. I welcome clients with neurodivergence.

Many people worry that therapy requires having everything figured out first, or that their difficulties are not "serious enough." The truth is simpler: therapy often begins with creating space to pause and talk honestly about what has been happening. From there, we untangle things step by step - whether that means developing practical strategies, understanding patterns more deeply, or simply feeling truly heard and understood. You do not need to have all the answers. That's what we work through together.
