Psychological Aspects of Eating with Psychologist Dr Matilda Moffett

It is World Obesity Day on Thursday 4th March 2021. The purpose of World Obesity Day is to encourage practical solutions to help people achieve and maintain a healthy weight, have successful treatment and work to reverse the obesity crisis.

To raise awareness of the Psychological Aspects of Eating, Dr Matilda Moffett, Clinical Psychologist will be joining the host Mr Zaher Toumi, Consultant Bariatric and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeon, to provide a FREE virtual information session, presented live on Facebook on World Obesity Day, 4th March 2021 at 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

Come and hear from our expert team discussing the psychological aspects of eating particularly during lockdown which has limited normal outlets such as seeing friends or going to the gym. Lockdown may also have raised fears of leaving the house or being in social situations.

Dr Moffett will present techniques and tools to better manage these important issues. In this supportive, interactive session you will have chance to pose your questions to Dr Moffett and Mr Toumi.

If you would like to learn more about psychological aspects of weight management or are considering Weight Loss Surgery this session should not be missed. If you would like to join register your interest on Mr Toumi’s Facebook page here.
