CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
WE HELP CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE
At Select Psychology we understand the importance of looking after the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. Children and young people benefit from different approaches to therapy than adults and require a therapist who is specialised and qualified to give them the care they need. By using these more bespoke interventions our expert therapists will support your child/young person and push them to reach their potential as they develop and mature into adults. By choosing Select Psychology you can be assured that you and your family will be provided with personalised care on your journey to success.

How we can support CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE?
OUR THERAPIES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
Our therapies are wide-ranging but some of them are delivered in a very specific way by our therapists trained to work with children and young people. When therapies are provided in this specific way we call this collectively ‘Child Therapy’.
Child therapy takes into account your child/young persons developmental age and then uses age appropriate tools and therapies to engage your child in the sessions. For example a very young child may benefit from a more play based approach, whereas an older teenager may be more able to engage in talking therapy.
