PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
I focus on the future, vision and values of Select Psychology, so that we can do our very best to deliver outstanding therapy services and help make a positive difference to peoples lives.
Research, action and learning to drive our continual improvement is central to my role and a big part of that is listening to our clients, stakeholders and staff. I am fortunate to work with a great team of people lead by our Managing Director, Sarah Myburgh, they are truly passionate and dedicated to our cause. Our team is always seeking excellence and I enjoy exploring innovative solutions with them as part of my everyday work.
My background is in academic research, quality assurance consultancy and certification. I worked in environmental and quality consulting, then quality/environmental/safety auditing, then moved into running a certification scheme, before a management role. Although not a directly related to psychology, this background was developed in a small business setting and created a sound base for my work at Select Psychology since its founding in 2015.
