We all worry! Sometimes our worries can stop us doing things we want to do or it can impact on how we think and feel about ourselves.
Would you like to know more about how anxiety might present in children?
Led by a clinical psychologist with specialist knowledge in child psychology, this workshop offers an excellent opportunity for all parents to gain a greater understanding of what anxiety can look like in children and how it can impact upon, not only their lives, but of those around them.
Your child does not need to have a diagnosis of anxiety for you to attend.
As a parent, the more you can understand about the challenges your children face, the better you can be at supporting them to manage them.
Following the workshop you will feel better equipped to identify signs that your child might be anxious.
You will then be able to think about the next steps you can take to get the most appropriate support for your child.
We will be offering a follow up workshop focusing upon strategies you can use at home.
When: 27 June 2018, 6pm – 8pm
Where: Select Psychology, 1 Tynemouth Road, Tynemouth, Tyne and Wear, NE30 4AY
