WHAT IS ASSERTIVENESS?

If you have problems expressing your own opinions and feelings or struggle to say no without feeling guilty it is possible that you have difficulty asserting yourself. Being assertive means that you can express yourself effectively and stand up for your point of view, while also respecting the rights and beliefs of others. Being assertive can help to boost your self esteem, reduce stress and improve your relationships with others.
