Professional background and experience

I have worked in local NHS Mental Health Services, in Cancer Support Services and in private practice over the last 17 years and specialise in working with adults, couples and adult families.

I’m experienced in working with a range of mental health difficulties, from stress and depression, to PTSD, Complex Trauma and Personality Disorder. My particular areas of special interest is in mindfulness, trauma and personality disorders.

I have trained across a range of areas adopting a number of psychological approaches such as  CBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, DBT and Family/ Couples Therapy.

Training and qualifications

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • EMDR (Level I,II & III),
  • Family Therapy (Foundation)
  • DBT (Full Programme).
