EFT therefore works with you to have a greater awareness of your emotions and accepting these. From there you can identify changes that you can make to influence thinking and guide future action and avoid negative behaviour.
Becoming more aware and better able to use your emotions leads to an increased awareness of your emotions. EFT should also improve your ability to regulate those emotions, challenge destructive emotions and find alternative ways of thinking and behaving.
